We are staying open to any and all possibilities regarding a purchase.  As we are sure most of you already know IHRA was purchased in March from Feld, the new ownership owns two world class  drag strips and is looking to expand the IHRA presence. We believe this would be great for the future improvement and development of SIR, its facility and all the racers. We appreciate all the racers and most of the past seven years, with that in mind we felt obligated to give everyone the facts directly. As the process continues we will continue to keep everyone updated. It is our goal for everyone to have the facts, therefore no rumors will be necessary.       
    On a separate note: We understand there has been some issues with the track and track prep. We have done extensive research and testing and at this point have not found the cure. We have used twice as much glue as in years past and we still don’t have the track we used to have. We will be trying other glues and prepping products in an effort to try and make the track what it used to be. We are racers too, so rest assure we will not quit trying until we have the results you the racer have come to expect from our facility.
